This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
When you use our services, we may collect:
A tuition feedback link can show the student, tutor, subject and programme for that tuition. We connect the response to that tuition in our private feedback inbox. Those tuition details and internal identifiers are excluded from public reviews. Anyone you share the personal link with can open its prefilled details; each link accepts one response and expires after 90 days.
When you send feedback, we store your rating, written feedback, optional name or initials, reviewer role, optional subject or course, sharing choice and submission time. We use this information to understand and improve your experience. A hashed network identifier is used to limit spam; a raw IP address is not stored with your feedback.
Feedback stays private unless you allow publication and Find Tutor approves it. Published reviews can show the written feedback, rating, name or initials (or “Anonymous”), role, subject and date. To ask us to remove a review or discuss your feedback, contact support@findtutor.uk.
We use Google Analytics to understand traffic sources, page visits, trial-booking steps and confirmed trial requests on our public website. Website analytics starts automatically when you visit a public page, and confirmed trial requests are reported to ChatGPT Ads for conversion measurement.
Our analytics events do not include the names, email addresses, phone numbers or written answers entered in the booking form. We remove contact details and unrecognised query parameters from page URLs sent to Analytics, and report broad subject, curriculum and booking-step categories instead of form text. Analytics does not tell us whether a requested trial was attended.
Google Analytics uses cookies beginning with _ga to distinguish visits; these cookies have a six-month lifetime that may be renewed on later visits. Google processes this usage data to provide analytics reports. See Google’s privacy policy for more information.
When you arrive from a ChatGPT ad, we remember the ad-click reference supplied by ChatGPT in a first-party cookie named findtutor_ad_click_v1 for up to 30 days. After a trial request is accepted, our server sends OpenAI the click reference when available, a random request identifier, the time and the trial page address so we can measure enquiries from our ads. This conversion event does not include your contact details or written form answers. We opt these events out of future user-level personalization. See OpenAI’s privacy policy for more information.
You can manage or block cookies using your browser settings. Blocking measurement does not prevent you from requesting a trial. Clearing browser cookies does not delete data already collected.

We retain your personal data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes in this policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our policies.
We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
